We want Paperklip to be worth the RM149–RM329/month you pay us. If something is broken, our bill is wrong, or you cancel within your first 7 days on a paid plan, we'll refund you. Beyond that, we don't refund the current billing period, but you can cancel anytime and you won't be charged again.
Paperklip offers a 14-day free trial. No charge is made during the trial, and no charge is made if you don't subscribe before it ends. There is nothing to refund on a trial.
If the trial ends without a payment method on file, your account enters a 72-hour read-only grace period: you can view your data but can't create or modify records. After 72 hours the account is paused — your data is retained and loads instantly when you subscribe.
This covers our Single User (RM149/month) and Team (RM329/month) plans.
Full refund, no questions asked. Cancel from Settings → Billing; we'll refund to your original payment method within 14 business days.
The current month is non-refundable. You can cancel anytime — you'll keep access until the end of the paid period and won't be charged again. No pro-rated refunds for mid-period cancellations.
If you are on an annual plan, you may request a pro-rated refund within 30 days of payment, minus any months already used at the monthly rate. After 30 days, annual plans are non-refundable but we will stop auto-renewal on request.
If you were charged incorrectly — duplicate billing, wrong plan, or failed service provisioning — email contact@paperklip.app within 60 days. Verified errors are refunded in full. This protection cannot be waived and is consistent with the Consumer Protection Act 1999.
If Paperklip's API or web application is unavailable for more than 4 consecutive hours in a billing month (excluding scheduled maintenance announced at least 48 hours in advance), you may request a service credit of one day's subscription per full hour of downtime, up to 30% of that month's fee. Credits are applied to the next invoice and are not refunded in cash.
We'll reply within 2 business days and, if approved, process the refund within 14 business days.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method (Stripe card, Billplz FPX, Chip, or bank transfer). Bank transfers may take 3–7 business days depending on your bank. Service Tax (SST at 8%) charged on the original payment is refunded alongside the principal amount.
Cancellation is automatic and immediate from Settings → Billing. You keep access until the period ends and are not charged again. This is different from a refund, which returns money already paid. Most customers only need cancellation.
We may revise this policy; the version in effect when you were charged governs that charge. Material changes are notified by email at least 14 days in advance.
This policy is governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes are first resolved by good-faith discussion, then through mediation at the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) in Kuala Lumpur, and failing that, the Courts of Malaysia.
